cherish that old pain

poem by: Khawla Algaz
Written on May 27, 2012

I'm wondering where my thoughts will
Take me,
My own mind is not in my hands,
Take me,
Take me to where there is no veil,
Veil of darkness,
That surrounds my heart,
Countless tries comes,
To no avail,
I am after all a dried up flower,
Whose youth has been nothing,
But dried up petals,
Petals that will remember the past,
And cherish it forever.
