Queen of Night

poem by: Khawla Algaz
Written on May 27, 2012

Like a flower in spring,
I was blossoming
to everyone's happiness
I was a flower with many petals
the moonlight was the sun to me
I earned every bit of its light
and I am called
the flower of the night
I blossom only in the night
my world differs from all flowers'
I weave my way to everyone's heart
I dance my way to make them happy
I am called the flower of the night
yet I am also the queen of the night
