Have You Ever

poem by: Jackie St james
Written on Mar 24, 2016

Have you ever found your self alone
In a land of beauty you've never known
With the mountain tops, that touch the sky
What a majestic sight to the eyes
As the soft white clouds caress the mountain tops
For just a moment the world seems to stop
As the breeze that rustles thru the trees
And daintily caresses the Autumn leaves
Nature shows the beauty of her colorful crown
As the Autumn leaves drift gently to the ground
Oh what a lovely sight to behold
When the beauty of the world unfolds
