Harsh cries and tears filled with pain, I wish I could tell you I love you again. Why did you leave? I want you here, Day after day, year after year. Time heals or so they say, But I just wish to see you for one more day. To hold you in my arms and look deep into your eyes, All of this would stop my cries. You blessed my life with your love and care, I find it so hard knowing you're not there. I wasn't ready but you needed to go, I want you around so you can see us grow. Selfishly wanting but the angels knew best, They took you away so that you could rest. Fighting a battle only angels can win, You fought enough, now time to give in. Harsh cries and tears filled with pain, I wish I could tell you I love you again. I know why you left and I know that your here, I feel you around, no more need to shed a tear. Time heals or so they say, But I know I will see you another day. I will hold you close and look into your eyes, Together we will be soaring through beautiful blue skies.
