Shame....

"With my head bowed, I had no choice...the thought of that dreaded walk,
all I could do was hold my breath, and go, tears welled in my eyes, I'd never, ever
felt such complete shame, and humiliation that was suddenly bestowed on me,
how  could I ever face my family, and friends again?....Her scathing words echoed around 
my head...."You are the weakest link...goodbye!".....
