After being there for a while
Eyes adjust to the dark
And you can see just fine

But it's still dark

You get use to the gloomy shadows
The neverending overcast
Forgetting what light was

But there's still light

Coming out it hurts
Your eyes are not use to it
Having to readjust

But it's gonna be okay

Everything is so brighter
The colors are beautiful
Liquid gold over your skin

But don't return to the dark.
