Safe Place

Can't let it slither back in my head
You were never my friend

Just someone who causes pain
For what gain?

I'm protecting my babies
I was never crazy

The mental abuse
The physical abuse

They will not see you hurt their mom
Just because you lose your calm

It starts with one
Then it'll become fun

These little babies that tug at my shirt
I won't allow them to be hurt.

No one will ever hurt my loves
Toxic people will not receive their hugs.

Not any family, friends or strangers.
I'll never put them in danger.

That's why no one knows where we are at
And it's gonna stay at that.
