ISOLATION....

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Nov 03, 2020

"I just want to hibernate....go to ground,
don't want to be near people....no one around.
Maybe sleep for a year...try not to wake,
curl up into a tight ball...for as long as it takes.
In suspended animation, with minimum heartbeat,
no need to think...no need to eat.
I don't want to see the sun rise up in the sky,
.....I'm just letting time pass me steadily by."

A sad but well written poem, Frank. I think a lot of people feel the same. But we'll get through this.

Chris, Rhys, Lucia....thank you all so much for your encouraging comments ...👍🏻..so many people are feeling really anxious at this moment in time..(including me).....and I felt hibernation would be the perfect solution....the squirrels, and hedgehogs are one up on us humans..hahaha......but we've all got to play our part...and most of all stay strong...✌🏻
