My Beloved

My beloved, she is like the sea,
In all of its ephemeral fancy,
Casting waves to wash away,
All hopes of glorious victory,
And with such beautiful simplicity,
She commands both heart and soul to her will.

My beloved is a beckoning storm,
Inviting lustful connotation
Into her powerful wrath,
Yet such infiltration shall fail,
And embroiled in her merciless destruction,
Will ceases to hold power.

My beloved is the risen sun,
Terminating dreams from blissful slumber,
Her formidable heat renders resolve undone
And when skin sears and blisters
My solidity does encumber

My beloved, she originates,
From a dreamer’s lustful perception,
My beloved I will find,
For she is answer and question.
