Poem Revy

poem by: Meesh Milphy
Written on Aug 22, 2020

They imprisoned my innocent thoughts
And left me to wander with an empty mind
For my heart withered and my soul scattered
Alive or dead that no longer matters
Sagacity and the longing to be sane
To live a life without terrible pain
To be free and that what I seek
Because my spirit is no longer weak
In a day or a night
I shall be brave and fight
In misery or cheer
I abandoned my fear
For I breathe the breeze of freedom
From my heaven in garden of Eden
