Black lives matter

poem by: Austin Daniel
Written on Jan 02, 2015

I'm tired of this shit,
enough is enough.
I'm tired-
that the color of my skin is a death sentence.
I'm tired of hearing,
that another one of my unarmed brothas has been kill by a cop-
like Tray'von Martin, Mike Brown
and we are still watching the list get longer.
I'm tired of fearing the unknown.
Knowing the fate of my unborn son-
just because of the color of his skin.

hey,I love your poem. yesterday I was watching Steve Harvey interviewing Mike Brown's mother (utube) and her dignity was astonishing. I'm english and middle aged but have been feeling you pain this year.....Ann
