A Peaceful Day

poem by: Kim Bond
Written on Jul 02, 2020

Listen closely
As the wind blows quietly
The trees make a sound of tranquillity
And the suns heat
Warms my back
Still, is the grass
The birds, they sing
Breathe in and out
The air is calm
Eyes delicately watch
As people pass by
The road with few cars
Is once noise then silence.
