The door is there for the opening You know we all hold the key Pour out your thoughts on paper Your on the road to poetry. Your words at first may falter Like a child's very first step But the more that you keep writing There will be words you will never forget. You know you will never regret this It's the greatest therapy And before you really know it Your a writer of poetry. There's one thing you should remember A poet once said to me Never be competitive When your writing poetry. There's a poet there in everyone His advice I could clearly see So if you really whant to be one Then you will master poetry.

Saddly not that many people answer to that call .

Nice one Christopher, I just started doodling with lyrics a couple of years ago, never gave a thought about writing them down, If a thought comes into my head now tho', I add to it by the day,, sometimes takes a couple of days, scrap re-write etc. Thank you for the nice comment on one of mine.
