Our prayer.
I believe in God above, a higher power who holds our love,
Who cares for us throughout the day and guides us on our weary way.
He holds us true within his heart and prays that we will never part,
Yes that’s right he prays for us as we should pray for him, but we forget with great regret the day he let us in.
Every day we both must say a thank you to our lord, who keeps us safe in this cruel world and hears our every word.
We thank him for his angels who watch us through the night and when the darkness disappears be grateful for the light.
A light that guides us, gives us faith and leads us through the day, will keep us strong and pure and true and surely show the way.
To happiness and joyfulness and when I hold your hand, I know I’ve found my destiny within the promised land.
A land of happiness and love, for this we thank our lord above, a gift that only he can give to help us grow, to help us live
I know we’ll cry, I know we’ll laugh as we climb up this rocky path and pray we’ll never part. If that should ever happen dear, I gift you now my heart.
I know that you will keep it safe and honour our true love and for this all I thank again our wondrous Lord above.
