ON THIS LIGHT NIGHT THAT FEELS ALRIGHT

Mr. Cartwright, use your eyesight
Do not ignite a night light tonight
As the white moonlight is so bright
On this light night that feels alright

Invite the starlight into your night
And take a flight upon a night kite
Forget about those mites that bite
On this light night that feels alright

Being a playwright is your delight
Don't contrite with your foresight
Write tight tonight at the campsite
On this light night that feels alright

Sit tight and be polite it's midnight
Write from your insight to excite
It might be quite done by daylight
On this light night that feels alright
