I am

I am loveable and proud
I wonder what the future holds
I hear all the birds singing
I see all the squirrels swinging 
I want the best of love
I am loveable and proud

I pretend life is perfect
I feel the whispering in my ear
I touch a heart full of joy
I worry about what’s near
I cry that you’re gone 
I am loveable and proud

I understand nothing always goes right
I say there is always happiness
I dream for that day to come
I try to do better
I hope it all goes right
I am loveable and proud
