Your new pal

Billy the bully, the coolest kid in town,
he’ll wind you up, put others down,
but you don’t care because your new pal
makes you the coolest kid around.
He gives you orders his strict instructions
go over there pull sally’s hair,
now pinch little johnnies’ finger,
go mock that kid for being ginger.
But you don’t care because your new pal
makes you the coolest kid around.
What you don’t know is how it feels
to be the victim of your coolness,
to be little Johnnie, sally and co,
but you still think of it as a joke,
you don’t know Sally’s mums dying,
or that Johnny spends his nights crying
and that little kid you called ginger is considering suicide.
Now ten years on and you look back
at all those kids childhoods, ruined by your endless crap.
Sally lost her mum that year, Johnnie lost his dad,
and that little kid you called ginger disappeared and never came back.
But you didn't know that back then
Because you didn't care
cause your new pal,
made you feel the coolest kid in town.
