Sun rising
from the sleepy horizon
of its dormancy.
Golden atom split
by the arrow of time.
A new day is dawning.
Sunrays blinding
this temporal shift
from then to now.
Senses drowned
by the tidal wave of sounds.
A new day is dawning.
Body and soul bathing
in each wave of light
washing over and through.
Placid waters skimmed
leaving little trace
in the fabric of time.
A new day is dawning.
