GEMSTONE...

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on May 02, 2019

"When I look into my Opals eyes,
the pure love that comes shining out,
is something she just can't disguise.
Every time that my Opal smiles,
she fills me with so much joy,
I've loved my Opal for so very long,
ever since I was just a boy.
Because Mary is my Opal, a gemstone so special to me,
if she wasn't always in my life,
only half a man I'd be."

This is beautiful Fank. Sounds like she definitely was the Opal of your eye. I hope I find my own someday that will remember me as you do her :)
