Mind over matter

Fear is not real, it's just a figment of imagination.
Dark, daunting and sometimes scary, etched into one's memory.
In a moment of fear all seems lost, no time for negotiation.
It's a shame some can be seen as nothing more than an enemy.

Overcoming the feeling of fear isn't going to be easy.
The struggles will be hard and the struggles will be real.
Who said life was going to be bright, who said it would be breezy.
This whole ordeal is oh so unreal, it couldn't get much more surreal.

Its all just mind over matter, overcome the situation at hand.
This will be harder for some than it will be for others.
Fear is one of life's obsticals, don't give up just understand.
Everyone goes through this struggle, even your mother's, sisters and brothers.
