Plain and simple

poem by: Asha Dare
Written on Feb 28, 2019

Im basic, I'm simple, I'm plain as can be.
My life isn't to fancy nor do I really want it to be.

I don't ask for to much, nor do I ask for to little.
I'm a genuine guy not nasty, not thickle.

I live day by day, taking each thing as it comes.
I encounter life's vices but will never succumb.

I'm basic, I'm simple, I'm as plain as can be.
I'd like to get on now, so please let me be me!
