The trials

poem by: Asha Dare
Written on Feb 28, 2019

Life is hard life is dead,
Thoughts and whispers deep inside one's head.
Pains are trapped deep beneath,
But releasing them is far beyond belief.
Trapped like rats they make life hell
Day by Day degrading what's well.

The sun shines bright,
But its secretly dying.
Just like a glowing fake smile,
That's secretly crying.
Those vacant stares only show pain,
Left deep in thought thinking there's nothing left to gain.

Round and round in circles we go,
It's really quite easy just go with the flow.
The struggles in life only get harder,
When the mind takes over and becomes one's master.
