in a sunlit forest somewhere the dappled rays through the trees fall on the back of a butterfly as it flutters in the breeze and by a stream that twinkles by icy cold in its shadows just one lone trout floats through its glass stares at the idly twirling swallows and you are out there somewhere in this big and lonely world and i sail blindly onward with all my flags unfurled and you move on and leave me i never cross your mind and i am left with all the pain of being left behind and i will sit alone and try to numb the sting and in the quiet, dark sweet woods I'll forget everything
