THE CONCERT

poem by: Tabinda Naiyer
Written on Jan 31, 2019

Abruptly outside my window,
The drums rolled hard at the meadow,
The cymbals played unceremoniously
Yet it wasn’t a cacophony…
It was dark except for the show lights that gleamed periodically
The lyrics were a woeful melody…
That was the nature’s show…..THE CONCERT OF THE RAIN
Everyone could perceive
But none happily received
I was the only audience
Looking at the dark ambience
The water splashed on my face,
Tripled down my eyes as if making me cry
It was a gloomy tune
Yet the instrumental concert is a glee to watch.
THE NATURE TAKES THE CROWN….
NO WORLDLY RESOUND,
JUS THE SILENCE…..
THE POET’S SOUND
