All is Fair Everyone Gets Their Due...

poem by: Joseph Lyrette

Across the global we can hear their woe
The trucks never stop coming to and fro
Three shifts a day Cow's & Pigs then Sheep
For them not one moment silence or peace
This is the Devils work a Hell hounds deed
Every second a million screams that rip
The soul and tear your heart with a
Blood letting chill Oh so cold
So many young lives taken now
 Not one will ever know
What it feels like to grow old
Like the eclipse of the sun,
Only darkness will they know
 How can one call oneself
 Human and be so inhuman
We are no longer in Gods grace
Even the creator can't look in our face
For we are a shame to life itself
 We have become the Demon
The slayer of life without mercy
Soon we shall feast on ourselves
For blood is blood and flesh is flesh
Our palate has a fondness for Death
 Babies torn from the breast
Throats slashed as they gasp out
 Their last blood curdling breath
We were meant to be Lords and Kings
Not a bane to life itself but
We have become Darkness and Death
Our actions are reprehensible at best
Lest we change our way we shall reap
Only Death and that of our own
Like the killing floor covered in blood
Our souls are stained as takers of life
And this we can never wipe away
We are a bane and a shame to all life
What have we become to forget
The true value of life is to proliferate
Fill the vacuum and leave no empty
 Space devoid of Life
That is the true goal itself
But we put the Universe law
 To the ultimate test but
 This you all must know
 There is another life
So choose best It's not over
This world was just a test
 The compassion you show
Others shall be shown to you
 All is fair everyone gets
 Their due....
