Whispers

The serum of life
leaves my body
bringing me to the brink
of the abyss.

I see shadows of movement,
those living in my world
they are unfelt and cold
overshadowed by those beyond

there is no light
only songs of Gabriel
the whispers of Michael, Lucifer and Uriel.
Azrael holds my hand without indifference.

I let go of all that kept me
only to find the warmth cover me
in my own blood and secretions
I am here without concern of death

This existence is fragile
yet strong in it's resistance
I am Alice in the rabbit hole,
a figment of true innocence.

Bring me back from the edge
only to stare into my depth
the abyss stares back at you
from the other side

I am death's lost lover.
the ecstasy of his phallus
a fantasy of his condition
bring me to climax and let me bleed.

Shanta commented:
