Weve been here
Weve been there 
I have dragged you nearly every where

But like birds of a feather 
We did it together 
You where my glue
But i just didn’t have a clue! 

You wear no medals or no boots
But red white and blue it runs through you
Your mission is clear
                                                         “don’t shed a tear and you can never show no  fear”

Your like a rock 
Getting bashed by the sea
So strong for your family!! 

But what I know now 
I didn’t see  then
So here’s to you 
My soldiers wife
I salute you for the rest of my life

But now I go to civy street 
Trying to land on my own two feet
Your missions not over
Not nearly complete 

We fight 
We argue 
We forgive and forget
Together forever
You don’t let me forget

But you do it for love
Not a reward
Sometimes I beat you want to hit me with the ironing board

The girls they say
Are you ok?
But proud as you are you knod and agree
But deep down  inside
Your hiding it all for me

So I see  now what I must do
Its so simple,
 its so true
I just need to talk  to you!

 Talk to  you with whats on my mind
Talk to you as were  one of a kind
Talk to you because you make me feel fine
Talk to you becasue your understanding all the time
                                                                              
I feel like a wights lifted off my chest
The way you hug me
And say im the best

Your mission is not over
But nearly complete 
Time will heal
So  rest your feet

 reconision you deserve 
 For the time  you have served 
The time you have served and nobody has heard

You deserve a bloody medal
A march down the street
Or even a simple letter from No 10 Downing Street

So please don’t take this as simple words 
As this is something you truly deserve
For something that we can never repay
For something that no one can take away

 for the rest of our  life"
