Riding The Bus

poem by: Christopher Farrell
Written on Oct 05, 2018

Riding on a bus filled with kids
Feeling like an adult but my pants aren't big
Teachers and parents are supervising the kids
Time to show these ladies what a man is
Step on over to the main seat
Ready to spit some game but the game was on me
Teacher turned around and said take your seat please
Now im feeling the same age i see
Jump up one more time and one of the parents asked if i was 14?
Yes i am but i carry a lot of beef she blow a kiss an winked at me
But little did she know i had a backpack of beef jerky
