Horizons

The junction between the sea and sky,
Is difficult to discern
Where sky begins and ocean ends
We still have lots to learn.
The water fills the sky with clouds
The clouds turn into rain
The rain falls back on to the Earth,
And fills up the seas again.
The parallel with living things
Is there for all to see
The junction between the physical
And whatever is you and me
Is very difficult to make out
It hovers on a breath,
And there is a very fine line
Between a living thing and death.
Yet from death all new life is born
It is nature's recycling we see
So when you next see those rainclouds
Think of how you came to be.
