Exorcism

He clenched his Jesus piece with his teeth.
As if that would protect him from me.
I stared him directly in his eyes.
He recognized the fire inside.
The danger dancing behind my mysterious eyes.
But still, he decided to ignore all the signs.
My prey had been delivered to me.
A sacramental priligy
He never even had a chance
to conceive
the depth of my need before
His stroke got deeper
His body became weaker
The ceremony was almost complete.
He came.
He released
his Jesus piece
And suddenly, as if looking at me for the first time
He was able to truly see the devil inside of me.

I wanted him to tame it
To choke it
To contain it
To really feel how good the evil felt...if only he could sustain it.
