Did I Trick Her

I asked her out months ago
She said "just friends, you know."
But after so much solitude
I decided I was in the mood
To try again
To woo Megan.

This morning I text Meg asking for advice:
Is it okay to ask the same girl twice?

"There's a girl I've had a crush on for a while.
I've asked her before but she'd recently broke up.
I don't want things to become hostile.
I still like her and want to ask her again.
But I don't want to lose a friendship for wanting more than I should.
At the same time I don't want to miss the chance in case she says yes.
What would you suggest?"

"Well I think of course you should tell her," Was the start of Megan's reply.
"There is no harm in telling her even if she only wants to be friends."

Does Megan know that I was talking about her?
Or was I sly, and did I trick her?

OMG this is so cute. If this is true... Nah you didn't trick her. In my experience, you can't be "just friends" with someone you really like. It would be bad for your mental health. So I think you should tell her. and if yes then great, if not you got to let it go :)
