Still waiting.

I would wait until the sun burned out
And all life withered to an end
Then in darkness i would sit and wait
For a chance at us again
If i had to id swim to you
Until the oceans turned to sand
Then walk the desert for miles
Just to hold your hand
I would wait as long as time itself
Continued to keep track
I would wait until the earth stood still
And the planet cracked in half
Then in darkness i would sit and wait
Just staring off into the black
All along counting the seconds
Until i got you back
