The Squimf.....

poem by: Frank Hornby .
Written on Mar 29, 2018

"As two six year old cousins, doodled with drawings on their small bed,
eventually, from somewhere deep inside their creative young heads...a weird,
and strange cartoon "creature," took shape on the page,
"it" only had one hairy leg, and a face filled with rage!
With a Mohican haircut, and in need of a shave,
"it" looked like a monster, that wouldn't behave!...pimples on its nose,
and a few more on its wild face...it was bouncing on one big foot, all over the place! Grinning a crazy grin, stretching from ear, to ear.
Should we be scared of our "creation?" Was it something to fear?
...Hopping up, and down, completely in the nude! "It" never wore clothes,
but never looked rude. We had to give "it"a name, but what would it be?
...So we called "IT" a "SQUIMF"...our LOL, and ME."
