What Is Love?
What is love?
Is it being hit from cupid from above?
Is love just a card,
Where you pick up one and just discard?
When I think of love I picture a heart,
that can be easily torn apart.
Love can have its separate ways ,
and also have its delays.
Love can be good or bad.
It is not something I ever had.
Love can ruin the hearts of many men,
but they continue to go at it again and again.
Love is supposed to be special and supposed to be kind.
But why is it so hard to find?
If there is a hint of love I begin to hesitate.
Because what if I want to wait?
I just don't want my heart to be any more broken,
because I want to give it to my mate as a token.
A heart is like glass because with one drop it breaks.
So maybe if I don't fall in love it will save me all the heartaches
