Eternal Night

Darkness swirls around the abyss. Nightmares like tendrils clutch at air. Hard to breathe, impossible to speak all you can manage is a whisper in your mind. No one can hear you, no one can save you as you tumble down...down...down... into the pit below.

You fall for what seems like an eternity, wondering how you got here and when will it all end. Slowly your vision blurs, the darkness around you starts to fade. Your thoughts grow simple and you are a child again.

The horror, the fear it all slips away. There is love, there is peace. You see a light in the distance and try to reach it. But your time is not up, there is still work to be done.

So here you sit, at the precipice of eternal day and night. What do you call this place? Purgatory? Earth? No… it has to be… twilight.
