HALF OF ME

poem by: Georgina Richardson
Written on Mar 12, 2014

The day I gave birth to you
I told the Angels we are one.
But they never told me what I should do
Now half of me is gone.

What do I do with half a life?
And half the will to live.
What do I do with half of me?
When the other half no longer lives.

You`ll always be the other half of me
Your soul is forever linked to my own.
What do I do with half my soul?
Now you`ve left me all alone.
