How beautiful the memory

poem by: Rob Walker
Written on Jan 21, 2014

We danced until sunset wrapped in love
The world in our palms undaunted
Spirits on high exhilarated
This place so special untouched
Tenderness in every caress
Unbound released free to fly
A moment in time entwined
Heartbeats skip untouched breathless
So sweet the beautiful smile
Sunshine backdrop cloudless sky
In memory these days will never end
The bitter pill of life's twists
Tempered by these thoughts
How wonderful this life can be
How beautiful the memory.
