JUST ONE
Just one
I know if I listen and I take just one drink, Its gunna lead to two
And if I have that second drink, Then two becomes a few
So now I’ve had a few beers I’ll push it just one more
What started out as one drink, has fastly turned to four
So know I’ve had the fourth drink, the addict comes alive
Now he’s taking over, He wants to go for five
He convinces me real easy as I down the fifth
Son where’re on a roll now, Ya might as well have your sixth
Now the addicts happy, because now were up to seven
And now he starts to mock me, as seven becomes eleven
At this stage, I’m starting, to really hate myself
Here comes self-pity, as I’m going past the tweveth
This is know the danger zone I’m tearing at the seams
This is now no man’s land For I’m drinking in the teens
The addict starts to laugh He’s proud of what he’s done
Now we start to argue because once again he’s won
Now I’m at the anger point, Who cares about the amount
By now I’ve really lost it, to pissed to keep a count
At this point where’re both drunk, we both lay down in a heap
But it’s on my own I wake up, In the car park where I sleep
And once again I’ve woke up Guilt ridden with what I’ve done
Why did I let him tempt me
Because I now it starts with one
