The letting go

poem by: Rakel Duca
Written on Nov 20, 2016

Wrap your arms about me
As the universal skies
Look at me tenderly as diamond lit stars
Love me as embers lit on a long lasting night.
Slowly glowing then soaring, but never taking flight
Open your soul and allow me to taste your sweetness
Swallow your pride and roll with my tides
Allow the caresses I press upon the open places to touch your heart.
Taste the tears I cry for your infantness
See the thoughts I possess.
Let me open your heart , unlock the doors to the beckoning realm of romantic notions
Deepen your highest thresh holds of emotion
Reveal your inner most secrets..
Unveil the eyes which know your soul
So slowly together we can both loose that control
