A little bit of money

poem by: Anna Sabrina Tate
Written on Nov 16, 2016

With an average jod day to day
Sets me up in life by its hourly pay.
Working hard to secure a home for my family
I work day in day out on replay.

But I'm now setup to have a lover in my lift share perhaps a child with when I become hos wife.
One or two or maybe even three
All depends on my working status I can get without a full degree.

But odd jobs too ill commit also
Slumming onwards to reap the rewards my benefits sow.
And then I'll have materialistic things of my choice
Secured by my payments of a monthly sent invoice.

My kids can have & want for nothing if they need
Because I've achieved a steady income in my life ambitions greed.

I'll have food on table everyday for us to eat
With even some maybe for the bins refuges retreat .

Not too wealthy but only just having enough
To make it through my daily hurdles
Without the times being costly high & tough.

I'm not a woman who wants a lot from what I earn
I only want my family to be competent in life & from my workING life to relearn.
