A Precious Moment

poem by: Royce B
Written on Oct 27, 2016

     Such precious moments,
Free of all of life's torments.
There is so much beauty all around,
Now that this love has finally been found.
After a long day of fun,
We sit together to watch the setting sun.
The sky is spotted by clouds tinged pink and red,
Floating elegantly above the sand on which we tread.
We watch the gently rolling waves,
simply wishing that we could stay.
And from the ocean my eye strays,
so that upon your beauty I may gaze.
Our day, this moment, you, all of it perfect,
A precious moment upon which I'll always reflect.
