Falling into Love.

I sat up on my roof last night,
The stars were shining so bright.
Like the first time your eyes glanced across the room
Or the moment I realised, that I, wanted to be your groom.

I was always thinking about you,
Sitting and wandering what to do
To make your life, just that little bit less tough.
I just always wanted to be with you, tomorrow never came quick enough.

I don't find it easy to fall very often
But at least this time you were there to soften
That rough landing that normally left in me bits,
Or the broken person that didn't really fit
Into society or life, stuck on the outside.
I'll be somewhere else soon, off in my ride.
Still waiting for that day, that you'll be my bride.
