Peace and quiet

The loud yelling echoed
In my ears
Like when you yell into a cave
I cover my ears with my hands,
Seeking to shut out the words
The horrible words
Then I feel a breeze
A wind so quiet and caring
Telling me am safe
I look up at the trees,
Their... happy.
Swaying with joy to see me,
To see I'm still here
I reach up into the clear blue sky,
Finally.
Peace and quiet.
