Intimacy

poem by: Royce B
Written on Apr 17, 2016

It starts slowly
Small kisses
Sideways glances
Gently testing boundaries

It becomes heavier
Arms wrapped round tightly
The embraces linger
The hearts beat faster

Then the look
Eyes meeting with a fiery gaze
Passion sparks
And burns the reserve away

The gentle caresses hasten
The hands explore
The kisses become fierce
And the bodies begin to move

The burning desire overwhelms
Clothes are shed
Shaking bodies press together
Skin against skin

The pulses race
The breathing becomes heavy
The bodies shake and grind
The grip of lust takes hold

The world burns away
Scorched by white hot passion
The bodies quiver
Their movements quickening

Shifting, writhing
Closer, faster,
Intimate whispers crossed by moans
As the feeling builds

Stronger, faster,
Pleasure surged
The bodies collapse
And the two embrace

The muscles relax
The breathing steadies
Two are one
And the eyes confess their desire
