I look back on my younger days...and long for such structure. Not every child is lucky enough to have rules.

Alex, I laughed so hard when I read this. I am 26 now, but when I was 18-20ish, my buddies would come over and eat everything in the fridge. My parents especially hated how my friends would open a soda, drink half of it, leave it somewhere around the house, and open a new can lol. My parents and I would feud sometimes, but I am glad that they imposed rules on me. I have friends who did whatever they wanted, and they grew up to be slobs. I loved it though. It was hilarious (but true).

Your poem is so true Alex....a fact of life is teenagers just don't like any form of discipline...or rules........it always seems funny when you look back...... I wonder if you went through "it" with your own teenagers ...hahaha....good poem..
