Fog

poem by: James Dicus
Written on Aug 28, 2015

The Fog rolls in from all sides of the valley, settling on the fields and hovering over the cool bodies of water

It wisps and drifts with the slightest wind, it changes it's likeness without a care or a bother

As the sun rises and warms the surface of it's home the fog begins to dissipate and reveals a dew that makes the valley glisten in the rising light

I see
I see you as you dance away, slowly with the rising sun, a thin blanket that leaves with the night

I envy your innocence and the beauty of your movements
Slowly, smoothly, leaving as you came with an unseen precision

A faithful witness and testament to our loving God Jehovah and His promise of our future

Our sins will soon be like you, whipped away leaving us refreshed as with dew and glistening in the rising glory of Jah, made newer

Nothing compares to the delicacy, serenity, and beauty of
The Fog
