Than you

poem by: Alejandro Rivas torres
Written on Aug 27, 2015

I'm looking at the grass,
I'm seeing it sway,
But never have I seen anything more graceful,
Than you, the light in my day.

I'm looking at the sky,
I'm seeing it change,
But never have I seen anything brighter,
Than you, my salvation arranged.

I'm looking at a girl,
I'm seeing her grow,
Never have I ever seen anything so beautiful,
Than you, the one I want to know.

This takes me back to the years my wife and I met, and grew as friends. Back when we were 11. Thank you for making me smile. Great and beautiful to read.
