Distant cries in the night, sleeplessness you can not fight Horror and pain from the drugs in your veins You are scared of somthing not there, you run away but nobody cares You beg and you plead just to be set free but your heart isn't in it, there is only darkness you see Life seems to have no meaning, no end So you take another hit to help heal and to mend But the fire inside burns you so deep, you would give almost anything for just one night of sleep, Trying so hard but nothing is right, so you breathe in deep and give up on the fight. The darkness closing in so fast, theres no light at the end just silence at last.
