Mute

Imagine a world where humans can't talk, we can see, we can breathe,
we can run, we can walk.
We cant eat with knives,
We can't eat with forks.
In order to survive we hunt and we stalk.

We can't be false and we can't lie.
We can laugh and we can cry.
But we still have to live,
And we still have to die.

Silent mammals who can't speak.
Defenceless animals that predators seek,
Survival of the fittest, no time to be weak.
Would humans still carry an evil streak.

Imagine a world with no words,
Would it be possible or plain obserd.
No voices to be heard only to observe.
No more stories being stirred.

How would you cope with no voice?
You'd still have a conscience,
You'd still have a choice,
Would it be bad? Or would we rejoice?

A string of words more poison than bleach or communicate, motivate, use our vocals to teach.
Which one will you choose next time you speak?

I believe this poem would inspire victims of abuse to come forth and start their healing process.

I'm speechless, but maybe we might be able to hear the word of YHWH more clearly.
