Sated forgivness

How could I've been so myopic, to understand your logic.
It took me til I was far to late, to clear my slate.
I know now everything I took for granted, is deep down and dead.
For what it's worth I still care, denying you just isn't fare.
Life is much sweeter when spent with you.
I don't know what I'd do if I were to ever lose your friendship too.
everything that I did wrong, I hope I make up for with this song.
I won't stand for what isn't right, for you I'd stay and fight.
can't you see I'm slowly suffocating, can't you see our love is slowly fading.
Please don't let this be the end, our bond is strong and I won't let it bend.
life is much sweeter when spent with you.
I don't know what I'd do if I were to ever lose your friendship too.
